Only had it or a few days, but like it so far. Twist locks on the legs are rock solid, it holds a big spotter without too much issue. The center column has two different locking mechanisms, both of which are reliable, but it also give you two things to mess with or keep track of. If I made any change, I would probably get down to a single center column mechanism. Excited to use it in the field in the coming months.
Hey Luke, glad you like it so far! You can easily just remove the bolt on the second locking mechanism if you don't want redundancy there. Where it helps is when you have the center column extended it provides two points of contact rather than a single contact, but personally even many of our staff members remove that bolt and just use the twist lock on the center column for adjustment.
The center column is also threaded if you just want to use the short section that's another option. Enjoy!
