Overview & specifications
Eberlestock Freefall Pack
The Eberlestock Freefall is a streamlined, versatile pack built for hunters who want solid load support and organization without moving into a full expedition-style pack.
Available in 2000 and 3000 cubic-inch classes, the Freefall works well for everything from day hunts and scouting trips to lightweight overnights. A supportive shoulder harness, padded hip belt, compression straps, and a structured design help keep the load stable when you're covering steep or uneven country.
The pack opens with full-length zipper access, making it easier to get to gear buried in the main compartment without unloading everything from the top. Inside, multiple organization pockets and a hydration sleeve keep smaller essentials sorted, while dual exterior bottle pockets and zippered hip-belt pockets keep frequently used gear close at hand.
The Freefall 2000 is the more compact option. At 1,975 cubic inches, it's a strong choice for day hunting, scouting, range use, or anyone who prefers a tighter, lower-profile pack.
The Freefall 3000 bumps capacity to 2,800 cubic inches and adds a separated lower compartment that works well for clothing, a sleeping bag, or other gear you want to keep apart from the main load. It's the better choice if you're carrying more cold-weather gear or stretching trips into an overnight or minimalist multi-day setup.

Which Freefall Should You Choose?
Choose the Freefall 2000 if most of your hunting is done in a single day and you want to keep the pack compact.
Choose the Freefall 3000 if you regularly carry extra layers, more food and gear, or want enough capacity for a lightweight overnight setup.
Both give you the same basic Freefall platform—the decision mostly comes down to how much room you want.
